Looks like Michael Schumacher will replace Felipe Massa for the next race(s)! Shocked Cool

Round a (street) circuit he's never raced on, in a car he's never driven and a little button with KERS written on it.

Gulp.

At least Massa seems to be getting better.

Oh, I'd be very surprised if he hasn't driven it before. Ferrari uses him to test drive road cars (there is a pic of him in the new F458 Italia in Autocar this week) and probably race cars too.

Good news on Massa

I doubt that Schumi's return will work out in terms of victories or probably even podium finishes. Because one of his strengths was his ultimate preparation. He knew his car inside out, putting endless hours into practice and study. Now he has to catch up in a couple of weeks, in a time where testing is heavily restricted. And Ferrari has yet to win this year. Schumi doesn't have to prove anything but if he manages to put himself on the podium, it'll be as close to wizardry as it gets. Anyway, the fans and the media are already winners thanks to an exciting development in an already bizarre season!

The testing ban means the only thing he could do in the 09 car is straight line testing, just the same as Alba-wass-'is-name for Torro Rosso last weekend.

Massa has walked a few steps apparently and is due to be moved in the next few days.
